The Northern Meeting Charity provides funding for two igloo domes and tools for bushcraft skills to help the Place make best use of its new leased land.
The Place is a well established youth club in Alness which now has a drop-in centre on the High Street which provides hot meals through evening clubs, as well as 2.4 acres of an overgrown field and wood which it is now developing. Areas in Alness are among the top 10% most deprived areas in Scotland.
