The Northern Charity helps to fund the cost associated with Landseer – A Highland Romance – a major exhibition and associated activities at the museum
Landseer came to know the Duke and Duchess of Bedford and through then spent many summers in the Highlands. He acquired a deep relationship with the Cairngorms which is reflected in much that he produced, intertwining his love of landscape with his personal relationships.
